Lake District Spring Photography Workshop - April 15th to

An exciting 1 to 3 day residential photography workshop with Alan Ranger visiting some gorgeous spots around the Lake District. Includes early morning shoots and a variety of moody and dramatic scenes for you to practice, learn and hone your photographic skills. The Lake District offers a rich variety of landscapes and the seasonal weather means it can be different every time you visit. Devon Seascapes Photography Workshop - 2nd/3rd April in

Join Alan Ranger for this amazing photography workshop in some the best photographic coastal parts of the UK. The rugged shoreline and beach at Hartland Quay, everyone's favourite - Clovelly harbour, and time permitting perhaps a stop off at Croyde Bay or Heddon's Mouth. Typically we start the day at Hartland Quay, North Devon and meet for breakfast at the Hartland Quay Hotel which resides on the cliff edge overlooking the spectacular shoreline. Hartland Quay is one of the UK's most dramatic seascape locations. Long slithers of rock formations and a fierce tide combine to bring you a fantastic photographic location. After some time working the rugged shoreline and beach we move onto a second location - this will depend on wishes of group, tide times and weather but Clovelly harbour is normally a favourite spot for lunch and some different shots. The afternoon we have more choices to shoot at several local beaches and can choose depending on whether you want rock formations or sand patterns... The Sunday we head part way back and can stop at Croyde, Heddon or any one of the great coastal spots depending on the requirements of the group - choices are sand dunes, large sweeping sandy beaches, large boulder and pebble beaches or rivers and waterfalls that join the sea. Workshop heater, Wood Burner, Workshop Stove, Sawdust 10Kw

Solidly built and robust, Oakfire workshop stoves are designed specifically to burn sawdust, offcuts or logs, and other things besides and it gives out around 10kW of heat. We have only had the burner for about 18 months and it has had very light use - it has been used no more than 12 times. There is a stainless steel outer tube made of mesh which means that, when burning sawdust, it can be lit by dropping a fire lighter down the tube so that the fuel can burn from the bottom up. Oakfires are the only workshop stoves that have double tube technology. This also allows the Oakfire stove to be lit simply by filling with sawdust, then dropping a lit tissue or firelighter down the tube! Buyer will need to collect from Fontwell. Price includes VAT.
