Porcelain figurine: Officer Dragoon Guards . Alfretto

Collection preferred but can be posted if required. Click on "read more +" for full description, even if it looks greyed out. Vintage porcelain figurine featuring a military figure in uniform. Wording on front of base is "Officer Dragoon Guards ". Most likely produced to commemorate one of the battalions involved in action in the Battle of Waterloo. Undated but probably c's/'s. Wording on bottom of base is "Alfretto Porcelain, Collector's Series, Foreign", there is also a small gold coloured paper sticker "Made in Korea", and a small piece of discoloured sticky tape which most likely dates back to when it was purchased. The colourful uniform varies in finish, the face, trousers and black headdress has a more matt finish whereas the hands, jacket and base plinth are more gloss. Bright gold coloured highlights on the belt, sword sheath and as a line around the very bottom edge of the figurine. Very slight rub on 1 side of the black shoe on the right foot, otherwise in excellent pre-owned condition. Selling as clearing out some boxes from a relative. No obvious cracks/chips/crazing. This appears to be an old ceremonial Glengarry hat that is in very good condition. It has a gold-ish coloured; or, copper-ish coloured; or, brass-ish coloured; or, bronze-ish coulored metal badge affixed to it with what looks like a long, brass cotter pin. It is not known what, exactly, to call the colour of this metal badge On the badge it says SCOTS GUARDS; and, in the center around a thistle are the words, "NEMO IMPUNE LACESSIT". The background behind the thistle center appears to be dark green. The badge, from side to side, is about 2.5 inches. This hat also has a feather attached. Thanks for looking.
