Hello, I am selling my Ashland only due to the fact that I want to treat myself to something new because I have improved playing since I first started. It is an excellent guitar for a beginner going on intermediate player I would say. I found it great to start because it isn't too big. So if you are struggling to find something comfortable in size then it is definitely a good choice. You can also plug it into an amp and play along, although to be honest even though I tested it initially, I haven't really used that function. Apart from aesthetic scuff marks due to the strumming movement (which are only visible up against the light) it is in excellent condition and has not been used for gigs. I have had it for around 1 year only. I will accept a reasonable offer and you are welcome to try it out first. Suggested retail price £165. Would make a great Xmas gift. Cash on collection. Beautiful big thing. I'm just looking to sell it cheap, to someone who'll take care of it. Perfect for a beginner's guitar. Onboard volume control works brilliantly as does the electric port. A few bumps here and there but very minimal. Slight rust on the metal *around* the port but nothing to be worried about... it all brings the price down and adds character if you ask me;) haha Would just need new strings is all, which can be installed quickly in any guitar music store. A very nice looking vintage semi acoustic roundback from Encore. One major issue. The neck is bowed. It may be retrievable. I have just restung and added a battery to the pre-amp to see if electrics are good. Its tested ok and is still playable in a basic stage. So would make a cheap entry level starter guitar or set up for tuning to use as a slide guitar, a project guitar, "wall art" or just to keep s an ol busker come party/festival use instrument.
