Stunning Romanian kilim (2 sided) originated from Northern Moldavia (a region in Romania). 100 % hand woven wool and cotton thread are the natural fibres used to handmade this kilim. These gorgeous kilims were hand-woven and hand-dyed by two sisters (now grannies) in a small village in Northern Moldavia using the kilim technique. Apart from their decorative purpose (decorate the floor or walls), these were used as warm bed blankets.
