RockShox Dart 3 Suspension Fork 100mm 26"

This is a circa RS Dart 3 coil-sprung suspension fork. It's been off my bike for a few years now, but I forgot to sell it. It has preload and rebound damping controls, and should suit any 26" wheel MTB as long as it has a 1 1/8" headset, disc brakes and is built for a 80 or 100mm fork. The steerer is straight - not tapered - and has been cut down to 230mm, probably at the RockShox factory. There's currently no crown-race, but the star-nut is still in place and looks to be usable. This was bought OE on an XL bike, and from memory I believe the coil is a 'firm', but you could swap that out for a few quid if you're smaller than me. Everything worked great last time I rode it. There's a bit of superficial damage on the preload cap from using a spanner on it, but the stanchions are in great condition and the dropouts are decent. These forks have 100mm travel and have a 20mm bolt through axel with the standard QR rockshox Maxle. The forks are in very good condition; the stations and uppers are virtually unscratched and show little signs of wear. The lowers are also in good condition with only small scratches and the usual paint chips around the bottom of the fork (as shown in photos). The seals are in good working order and leave no oil residue on the fork. The compression damping is fully operational as is the rebound adjustment to allow for adjustment of fork stiffness.
