CABANON ISABELLE A FRAME RIDGE TENT

Similar to look at as vango force ten and BCT Taskforce. Can be used in different combinations: a basic ridge tent with or without bell end front: attach the extension fly for extra room. The size is approx just over 7 ft wide and just under 7ft long with a extra bit in the bell making it approx just over 8ft long. The ext is approx the same. I can stand on the extension but have to lower my head in the sleeping pod. I am 5ft 9ins. The CABANON is canvas and has been looked after and stored indoors, it is in fantastic condition and there is no tears in the canvas, three small repairs in the sleeping pod floor. Always dried out naturally in a hall. It can be set up in less than half a hour on your own, less if two of you and can be viewed before Taken if you want to see it erected, it comes down in five mins. Heavy duty zips all in great working order. It does not need guy ropes as shown, but I usually add two on each end incase high winds arrive. There is pegs but stronger ones would defo be better. Cabanon Isabelle Cotton Canvas Ridge Tent

I have for sale a lovely example of a Cabanon Isabelle cotton canvas tent. If you are like me and prefer the quality and materials of traditional camping, then you’re likely to love the Isabelle. This one really is in first class condition and has always been stored and packed away completely dry. The outer canvas has maintained it’s rich green colour without fading. There might be the odd mark from birds flying over but this is minimal and best left to the rain to deal with. It is a nice ridge pole design using a full cotton inner tent with mesh ventilation door, supported by 3 steel legs. This is good because it means the entrance uses an ‘A’ frame, allowing the door to be kept clear of a central pole. The cotton inner has a bath tub style sewn in groundsheet which is very waterproof and helps to keep the insects out. I have pitched this on top of another groundsheet which I recommend to help keep the sewn in groundsheet protected and clean. The tent allows the option of zipping on a front extension plus a zip on bell end (both included) so there are various configurations possible. If for instance you wished to use it for a weekend camp and arrived late, the main tent section could be put up with the zip on bell, then the extension could be put up the following morning if required. The extension includes vertical poles and guy lines that allow a side to be raised and used as a sun canopy in hotter weather. The Isabelle’s are relatively rare in the UK although I have seen a couple listed during . This one has only had 3-4 weeks of use during its lifetime so everything is in super condition.
