looking for a rider for my daughters pony due to other commitments she cannot ride as much as she would like. Suitable for a novice but would prefer someone experienced as currently unfit so needs building up again slowly, can be ridden in field (until weather turns), lots of local hacking, bombproof in traffic, snaffle mouth at all times. hes just turned 20 but dont let this put you off he loves his work, small contribution required by arrangement. Rider needed to share pony. in Shipston On Stour

We are looking for a rider for our pony. My daughter has moved to a bigger pony, and due to lack of time cannot give enough time to both ponies! The pony is a sweet natured 13.2hh mare, who looks after her rider. She will be looked after by us, and can be ridden 2-4 days per week, depending on the weather/daylight. I have many years experience with horses, so can provide coaching if required and supervision as necessary. The pony is great to hack and ride in fields. We hack out regularly (after school and at weekends), and go to local and pony club horseshows so the rider will get chance to do showjumping, cross country and gymkhana if they want. In return I ask a small monthly contribution and help with some chores when riding. If you know anyone who is interested, please contact me.

Stunning 133 cm BRPS Registered Show Pony

Sadly for sale Mount Pleasant Super Ted aka Teddy - I bought Teddy 9 weeks ago for my 11 year old daughter as she had outgrew her amazing section a - unfortunately Teddy is much greener than first thought and has struggled to settle on our very big busy yard which includes a riding school, feed shop, fishing lake, caravan storage, tack shop and karate dojo so it's an extremely noisy busy environment. Teddy is absolutely stunning and works in a natural outline and has very showy paces. Teddy is very green and hasnt done anywhere near as much work as described at purchase. He needs an experienced show pony home where he can gain confidence and realise his full potential. Teddy is one to be produced for next season and he will bring home the ribbons without a doubt. Teddy would benefit from being on a small yard without all the distractions of a busy yard. Teddy is in a happy mouth bit and is used to being ridden off the leg rather than hands, he can be spooky to ride (he wasn't when we viewed him on a very small yard) when there are lots of things happening around him but nothing that a confident light weight jocky couldn't handle unfortunately my daughter doesn't have the confidence or the knowledge to push him through this. Teddy is very intelligent and wants to work and please. He is amazing in the stable, picks up all four feet no hassle, he lives a groom and he adores kids hes a real people pony. Teddy will come with all his full wardrobe (he only had 2 rugs when we purchased him) which includes 2 saddles (1 show 1 general riding); bridle, about 6 rugs and any other bits. This boy deserves a 10* home and if I was more experienced and didnt work full time and my daughter a more confident rider he wouldn't be going anywhere.
