Hi I have come to a very hard decision to sell my daughters ride and drive cob gelding he is 15 year's old been there done it type he is 13.1 but is built like a tank so looks and feels alot bigger and is a weight carrier. He is ride and drive and a very safe pony he is abit unfit due to not doing much recently this is the reason for selling. He would make a perfect family pony. I will not be selling to just anyone so no dealers please only genuine horse lovers that could offer him a good life as this is what he deserves please no time wasters or joy rider's as heartbreaking decision

Scotty was bought 2 yrs ago as a ride and drive pony, he is 39 inches tall, skewbald in colour, he has not had a rider for past 18 months and has not been driven for past 10 months due to myself having a knee op. He can be a little on nervous side with strangers, he is fully vaccinated, sound and has a pet passport as he is an unregistered Shetland. He is a very sweet pony and loving but unfortunately I am unable to do him justice,. He would make a fabulous companion for another horse or pony, very sadly for sale, a nice project for someone to bring back into work, pictures of him to be added later.

14.3hh handsome ride and drive cob gelding. Up to date with teeth and worming. Good nature, never bitten or kicked. Good to tie up and groom. Nice comfortable paces, moves at a nice steady pace. Good in all types of traffic. Driven by a novice driver but would need experienced driver to progress to roads as am not knowledgeable enough in this area, been told was previously driven on some roads sometimes. Can do 2 or 4 wheel cart. Can be ridden/driven around open fields and amongst other horses. Hacks alone but need to be assertive to build him up in this area further. Only flaw is he can be stubborn whilst hacking going forwards sometimes, doesn't rear, buck or bolt but wouldn't say he is bombproof or foolproof. Schools nice and softly on the bit. Good with kids, to trim, catch, worm. Will load into a single trailer. Barefoot no problem. Lives out in a mixed herd no problem. Someone to progress him further preferred as he is a smart lad but would also comfortably suit trekking centre, happy hack in company as he is if this is what someone requires of him. Will continue to hack and school whilst here, showing improvement each time. Can carry up to approximately 13 stone. Happy to answer questions, will be as honest as I can but please only enquire if you are genuinely interested. Hes a nice looking fella who deserves a forever home. Ideally I'd like him to go to someone who confidently really pushes him, shows him a sense of adventure and regularly gets to see new things, get him thinking and problem solving, open his mind. A good leader, think of the intelligence and cheekiness of a Welsh and that's the type of owner he'd suit. The right person will know what I mean I'm sure. Any trial welcome, spend the day here.
