We had this electric fire new in the s, and it is still in working order. Two red bulbs fit beneath the plastic coals. Heat from these causes two discs to rotate giving a flame-effect at the back of the fire. Label on reverse of fire states: Belling & Co. Ltd Enfield. Middx. England Heat Watts: Total Watts: List No: 727 TK Name: Trend Plus I believe, (although am unable to verify), that the two bars in the bottom are 1kw each, with the convector at the top also rated at 1kw. Approximate dimensions: Width: 28 inches Depth at Base: 10 inches Height: 25.5 inches For its age, fire is in quite nice condition from the front. Some paint has flaked off the coals, and coal-effect component is a bit fragile in places around the edges. There are some faint cup rings on the top, and lower reflector is tarnished in places. For several years, the fire was positioned in front of an open fireplace. Consequently, reverse of fire has become blackened and tarnished by soot falling down the chimney. For sale is this 'Radiation Sunhouse' retro coal effect metal electric fire with fabulous cooper canopy. I have switched the fire on and both the light and the two electric heater bars of the fire are functioning but I would recommend it is rewired and tested (there is a black tape repair on the electric cable).
