I have a space for a retirement livery in 6.5 acres at Hockley Heath near Solihull. No stabling, but a beautiful 36' x 12' shelter with free roam of field and unlimited hay in shelter. The field will be shared with my old retired racer who is 26 years old & his new companion, a 9 year old ex racer mare. I prefer an older gelding as company for mine rather than another mare as Flyer lost his field buddy 3 months ago & misses male company. I visit & bucket feed, check & water EVERY day and would be happy to look after your old boy for you, but you're also welcome to visit yourself if you prefer. I have over 45+ years of owning horses & very experienced at caring for the older horse & believe free access to grazing with shelter is the best & healthiest life for oldies. Adorable 11hh piebald gelding, 27 years old, welsh/shetland, is looking for a knowledgeable and caring person to look after him in his retirement. He is cheeky, sociable and easy to handle. He has a history of laminitis so grazing needs to be limited and full turn out is not possible. Company of other ponies/horses is ideal as he likes to make friends (or he may have a friend of the same size who could come with him if that's a possibility). Mature Gelding for hacking/companion/retirement home

I'm looking for a loving, long term home for my gorgeous, 15.3hh, bright bay, half Hanoverian gelding. I've had Pride since he was 2 years old and am regretfully re-homing due to his companion being sold and lack of time on my part. Must have previous experience - owned or loaned horses before. He's 24, in good health and looks more like 12. He has a lovely nature, no vices and has taught many kids to ride over the years. However, he can still get a little on his toes when out hacking so may be better suited to a confident rider. He needs very little leg - might be getting on a bit but is no plod! Saying that he will quite happily go around an arena with a child and trot on command, good as gold. He is great in traffic and used to big trucks and tractors passing. He's good with farrier/ dentist/ clipping but doesn't really like to travel after a bad experience so not suited to someone wanting to take him places. I'm looking for someone that will give him the attention he requires into his retirement years and will keep him with company until his final days.
