Dougal very small Romanian rescued dog in Swadlincote

Dougal is around 16 months old and was saved from the public dog shelter in Romania. He is very small size with short legs. We know nothing about his past, but we think he once had a home as he is very comfortable in his foster home here in Derbyshire. We have realised since he has been here that he can be a little nervous at first around people he doesn't know and can often be rather protective of the people he has formed attachments to. Therefore, if he could find a home with an older person or couple who have experience of rescue dogs, then we feel he would be happier. Dougal likes to cuddle up in his bed or on the sofa next to someone. He is good with other dogs and likes to play with them, but he would also be happy on his own as he likes all the attention. He likes going for walks but can be a little nervous near busy roads or loud noises. Dougal is a happy little dog, and with some basic command training he will make a lovely companion. Followed by a homecheck. Your garden will need to be fully secure with adequate fencing and gates. We do not home to people with children under 12 years old. We prefer to home within a 50 mile radius of DE12. Once this has been done, you are very welcome to meet any of our dogs. All of our dogs are neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and wormed. Adoption fee is £225. You can reserve a dog if you wish for a deposit of £50 which is non refundable. Alternatively, our dogs will remain available for adoption until all checks have been made. Please be sure that everyone in the family is committed to adopting a dog before we carry out a homecheck as we do not have the resources to do this and then be told that people have changed their minds. NO TEXTS loving new homes needed for rescued beagle x jack russell,they are now 10 weeks old..we went 2 weeks ago to view a puppy advertised on this website when we arrived we was greeted by a very old man who dogs had puppies and he was struggling to cope they was full of worms very thin and very very hungry they also had ear infections,so we took the litter on treated them for ear infection flea and worm treated them and fed them up,and dispite all this there the happiest most welcoming puppies you will meet,they have not been affected mentally or physically,they wasnt abused the old man was just unable to cope,so there health suffered more than anything and now there 90% better they just need a few extra feeds to be perfect,there mum was a full beagle and there dad was a jack russell,loving homes only please

Penny is a lovely dog rescued from the streets. Why anyone would abandon her is beyond me. She is around 2 years old maybe a little younger. She has had a rough start to life. After fostering her I have established She is good in the house, crate trained and clean as long as she is given the excersise she needs. Brilliant on a lead. Good with small dogs but with big dogs she can get a little dominant. Loves children. Needs a home without cats. Very loving always wanting cuddles. She just needs a second chance at life. Simba for Adoption rescued from a Spanish refuge now in the

Lovely boy Simba was in a Spanish dog refuge for 8 years, all his life before we saved him and brought him to the UK. He was thrown over the wall of the refuge with his brother when he was a puppy. In Spain the dogs stand no chance of being adopted. He has now been in the UK 1 month, he is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, also has a full EU passport. He is super friendly and has no issues, he is a gentle boy and loves people. He still has a lot of years left and would love his own family to take him for walks and cuddle him.
