Lottie is a rescue dog originally from Romania who is approx 3 1/2 years old. I have had her since she was approx 9 months old when I got her from a rescue centre. Lottie is very loving towards people she knows and trusts but can unpredictable with strangers and has had little experience of being around children so would be very wary of re homing to a family. Due to her sad start in life as a street dog, she exhibits resource guarding/aggression with food and items such as socks or plastic packets, this is something that can be managed easily but she has been known to nip if someone gets between her and her precious item/food. Lottie is a real character and has a very bouncy nature with lots of energy. She loves her walks and my partner has taught her to swim recently as previously, she was terrified of water! Lottie has very much a hunting mentality and will spend hours chasing her own tail! attempting to jump after birds and cats sat on fences. Lottie is a real softy and loves snuggles and sitting on a lap in the evenings having her tummy rubbed. I really hope someone will give her the opportunity to brighten their life. I'm looking to re home her as i am pregnant and we are due to move into a new home in the next couple of months so I don't want the upheaval for her to get used to a new home only for her to have to go once the baby is here. I am a foster mum for several cat rescue organisations as shelters are currently overflowing with abandoned cats and kittens we always have plenty to offer to the right home. Do you have children ?
