SOS Podenco Rescue: QUELA for adoption

SOS Podenco Rescue: QUELA for adoption

QUELA - Fostered in Glasgow Quela is a 5 year old Podenco X Galgo, weighing approx. 15kg and is 54cm to the shoulder. She has been in a permanent home with 1 cat for a year but due to behavioural issues is now living in a foster home. Quela is a very loving dog, she loves cuddles and walks beautifully on the lead and loves running off lead. Her recall is fantastic. However, she has resource guarding issues and will snap and snarl if her food/bed/toys are challenged by any other dog or human. She is currently in foster with 4 other dogs (3 male, 1 female). She gets on great with the males but not so much with the female. Her behaviour has made some improvement over the last few weeks but she needs a forever home without children with someone who has the time, patience and experience to help her overcome her issues. She has great potential to be a very loving and loyal dog but this would be best achieved in a cat-free home with less dogs where she can be given dedicated training time. When she came to her current foster she was very picky with her food but she is now eating every morsel. Our adoption fee for Quela is £100, we require an adoption questionnaire to be completed, please apply via this ad and I will send it to you. Applicants will be homechecked before adoption is approved. Ad ID:

SOS Podenco Rescue: FAITH for adoption

SOS Podenco Rescue: FAITH for adoption

FAITH - Fostered in Ludlow. Faith is a 4 year old canarian podenca saved from a killing station in Lanzarote. She is medium size, cm to the shoulders. She is a very lovely, quiet dog. She is kind and loving and likes cuddles. She is still a bit nervous and jumpy when she is out walking, she doesn't like traffic! She jumps when people move their arms quickly and she does not like it when you throw bits of food to her. She will soon learn that not everyone is out to hurt her. Low hunting instinct, cat workable, medium activity level. She would be better in a home without children as she is nervous of loud noises or sudden movements. She is a clever dog and it won't take her long to learn. Negative to mediterranean diseases Our adoption fee for dogs fostered in the UK is £300, we require an adoption questionnaire to be completed, please apply via this ad and I will send it to you. Applicants will be homechecked before adoption is approved. Ad ID:

Burmese Python for adoption - Reptilia Reptile Rescue

Dutchess is a Burmese Python who was brought in to us from an organisation as her last owners were keeping her in poor conditions. Dutchess is around 9ft long and she has the typical Burmese behaviour which is a little hissy when getting her out the enclosure but once she is out she is fine to handle. We ask that people who have had experiences with large bodied snakes to come forward for potential adoption. She could come with a 6ft enclosure for an extra fee but this enclosure would be temporary and will need to be upgraded in the near future. She is currently feeding on guinea pigs/small rabbits.
