Originally designed for a PC with keyboard but could easily be used for a laptop this Regency style desk has a number of different style of drawers for folders, keyboard etc (see pictures), with gold inlay in the leather top which matches the 2 drawer filing cabinet. The Chesterfield chair is very comfortable, no rips or tears it swivels & reclines a really beautiful set. As you can see all three items complement each other, a complete office set in a wonderful condition. I have treated them to a sympathetic clean, the wood has been polished with an antique grade Colron beeswax, the leather has been treated with Elephant wax. The desk has two pedestals both with three drawers in each pedestal, with three drawers running across the front. As you can see the desk has wonderful graining to the body & drawers fronts etc, it is strong construction. With classic swan neck handles fitted to the drawers. The writing surface is topped with a lovely classic leather skiver / inlay with a gilt tooled pattern running around the edge with slight wear which I believe gives it character. With a great antique style to it in Regency /Georgian manner, it has no wobbles with just wear commensurate with age as it develops its antique character. Measurements, width 48”, height 30” & depth 24” The chair is a lovely traditional Chesterfield captain’s / desk chair, which sits on a central 5 armed base, which revolves smoothly. It swivels & reclines beautifully, with mahogany effect base it has a metal core which allows the height to be adjusted, with small metal castors. It is really comfortable & in beautiful condition, with no rips or holes to the leather a timeless piece. Measurements, 33” high (19” high to seat) when raised at mid point, 20” seat width between the arms, 17 seat depth.
