These are quite heavy and robust manufactured items with a relatively high-cut pile. Their wool is of good quality and features a satisfying shine. The field is divided into diamond shapes by a continuous grid consisting of stems and tiny rosettes. Sometimes, the decoration features spandrels, and in other cases, it extends freely over the whole field. The centre medallion is also an element that is sometimes inserted into this pattern.
