I have 3 pure bred Shetland sheep EWE lambs left available for sale. 1 very dark grey, 1 black flecket krunet smirslet, and 1 emsket. I also have 7 cross bred EWE lambs many with Shetland colours and characteristics that will be easy lambers for their first lamb crop in . They are crossed with Oxford Downs and also some Suffolk crosses too, and their fleeces are to die for for the handspinners amongst you !! There are also 16 WETHERS (castrated males) to choose from. Shetland sheep make wonderful pets, paddock tidiers and even lawnmowers. They are available in a huge array of colours, and look wonderful when gracing any paddock etc. They are easily tamed down and are wonderful for even children to handle and even show on the halter. Shetland sheep are also fantastic sheep to cross with a Blue Faced or Border Leicester to create a mule type sheep to further cross to terminal sires. As they are a primitive breed, they rarely have difficulty in lambing - in 6 years of keeping these lovely sheep I have only ever had to assist 1 ewe to lamb.
