An exquisite regrncy piece circa . Medusa design solid bronze with snakes entwined. Attention to detail is beautiful in this wonderful piece of door furniture. There is also a mould stamp on the reverse. Actual detailed history is unknown.

ANTIQUE BRONZE AND JEWELLED PHOTO FRAME REGENCY or ARTS AND CRAFTS

I inherited this exquisite antique bronze and jewelled photo frame which probably originally contained a miniature likeness of a favoured lady; I have put a computer printed copy of an appropriate image in it just for illustration purposes. I’m not sure whether it is Regency in period or Arts and Crafts. All the “stones” are present and the glass is undamaged, I haven’t polished it because I thought it best to retain the patina.
