This lovely Regency mahogany chest of drawers is in very good condition. This chest of drawers has exquisite satinwood cross banding and its original handles. There are some scratches on the top of the chest and I am happy to send you more photographs. The marks do not, however, detract from the elegance of the item, and internally, the chest of drawers is spotlessly clean. Please look at the photo(s) carefully as these are an important part of the description and do not hesitate to ask questions. Remember this is a antique item... and will have an appearance commensurate with its age. I can recommend someone to take the item to the mainland. Normally a firm will take multiple loads from different customers on certain days of the week on a regular basis and it's easy to add another single item to the load. This fabulous large chest of drawers is circa (Regency period) and is in great solid condition. It is bow fronted (serpentine design) and made from mahogany. The photos really don't do it justice - if you are looking for a large sturdy period piece that will stand the test of time and look good then this is for you! It would look just as great in a large hallway as a bedroom. Note the beautiful column detail - I haven't seen any like this anywhere before and I'm sure it would make a real statement piece in any home.
