This fabulous large chest of drawers is circa (Regency period) and is in great solid condition. It is bow fronted (serpentine design) and made from mahogany. The photos really don't do it justice - if you are looking for a large sturdy period piece that will stand the test of time and look good then this is for you! It would look just as great in a large hallway as a bedroom. Note the beautiful column detail - I haven't seen any like this anywhere before and I'm sure it would make a real statement piece in any home. Chest of Drawers Antique pine for restoration, chintz OLD st

This is for a chest of drawers crying out for restoration. A quality item with wood lining between the drawer levels. All original including wooden knobs. Lined with a Times newspaper so at least 54 years old but i think it is a lot older. Would suit either professional restorers or chintz project. Inspection welcome before auction end. The dimensions are approx 37 inches in height, 18 and half inches width and 37 and a half inches long. Buyer collects cash preferred and item is in Lytham near to the crematorium. For sale is this absolutely stunning antique Welsh chest of drawers. It's a lovely solid scruffy old thing with bags of character and charm. It's totally original I've just given it a clean and wax. It has fantastic proportions, clean inside, a lovely inlay detail on the drawers and a very unusual combination of 2 over 4 drawers making it a little different from the norm. I honestly can't say enough about this piece it's cracking but if you're looking for a pristine restored antique this is not for you. Items of this age come with obvious age related knocks, bumps and scratches etc. In my opinion this only adds to the their originality and style.
