hh welsh section d, Liver chestnut mare with flexen mane and tail, 6 years old up for sale through no fault of her own. She is good to catch, vet, farrier and box. She has been lightly backed and is currently being school so is green at the moment. Has hacked out alone and in company across open field and didn't put a hoof wrong. She is not a novice ride as can be quiet strong so will need a confident teenager or adult. She is really good in and out of the stable but about a 6 months ago she got diagnosed with gastric ulcers but after medication she has had the all clear around 3 months ago. She windsucks on haynets so can only have a hay bar in the stable and has been absolutely fine. Up to date with teeth, vaccinations and working. This is a very hard sale as I have had this little girl from being 1 day old. 10* home for this lady only as home is more important than price. *Offered For Sale* year old (Feb ), Passportes and microchipped REGISTERED Welsh section D mare. Liver chestnut in colour with white blaze & three white socks. Was professionally schooled as a 4 year old, but hasn't been in work since October last year due to owners health. She's the type that needs riding every day and is quite strong, therefore not a novice ride and a typical Welsh! She's made me very happy since she was 10 months old, and always tried her best, but she needs to be out competing/doing what she does best! Unfortunately I can't give her this anymore and it's not fair being a field ornament! Teeth, back, worming are all upto date, she does need sedating to have her teeth done as she gets nervous. Is fully shod due to the fact she gets foot sore if ridden without due to stones etc. Does need her vaccines restarting. Bombproof in traffic and is quiet when ridden in the field and the school however will try it on and test you at times, i.e. If the riders not confident to push her forward and ignore it. She's a very proud horse, that will need the work put in to remind her of her schooling but will go far in the right hands. Won both her dressage tests as a 4 year old scoring 66% and 69%. Has been over cross country jumps and over coloured poles. Ask her and she will try. Has a scar under the saddle where she had a skin rumour removed last year, the furs never grown back but the vet confirmed there was no more. Travels in a trailer without the partition and without another horse, but will not travel otherwise due to an accident. Won inhand champion and overall supreme champion as a 3 year old. I only want the best for this mare and she won't be going to just anyone. I've been 100% honest in the Advert. Homes will be vetted. Delivery can be arranged. Priced to sell at £. Lovely LR.. 18yo mare Sparkle is kind natured pony who has 3 lovely paces..although does require some leg! She’s Superb on a lunge line will go off voice command (and my 6year old daughter can lunge her too) we have mainly done showjumping on an off LR and we’ve done lots of hacking! We attended pony camp this summer (Sparkle had done pc in previous home too) for the last year my daughter has mainly been off the LR with sparkle but we learned very quickly that sparkle has a cheeky little habit of putting her head down an forward which can sometimes catch my daughter out (I’ve tried daisy reins an side reins which did help this) if my daughter was a bit older and stronger it would work but at this stage she’s too little to ride her through it! This is sparkles only fault an the only reason why she’s up as LR! She is super safe in open spaces she will stand all day to be fussed! She’s barefoot..just had dental checks never sick or sorry! She is a real sweetheart..I have lots of pictures and videos and I am also happy for her to go with a TRIAL FIRST! 5* loving home only! Read more
