We've had Roo for 18 months, she is 9 in April. She was successfully shown in hand as a youngster to county level. She was professionally backed and has been to shows with a competent rider. She is responsive under saddle and good to hack out. We've only hacked her out and used her as a companion as she is too sharp for my complete novice daughter. I have taken my young niece out on the lead with her to. She needs a competent experienced handler as she can be 'grumpy' pulling faces, stomping her feet, she will occasionally nip at you.
