For sale a pair of chinchillas. Male and female, please not the male has been neutered. The male who is called Gismo is black and the female is called Ferbie and is black and grey and a little more shy but they are both very inquisitive and love their sand baths. They are 5 years old, and come with a large cage, water bottle, food and sand bath. I unfortunately need to sell them due to moving to a smaller house. The cage comes with its own stand which has wheels. It measures 85cm wide x 48cm deep x 100cm high and the stand is a further 60cm high but comes apart from the cage. The buyer would need to collect due to the size of the cage or we could deliver locally for the price of the petrol.

He is a gentle little boy, a bit timid but does love cuddles. Skittles (beige) is 5 years old, have had him since he was born, he has the most lovely personality and is so gentle. He loves cuddles and will happily sit on you for hours.

Pair of Chinchillas

These boys were rescued in pretty bad shape. Both were extremely under weight and their fur in really bad condition. I am now happy to rehome them to an experienced owner. 2 years is an approximate age based on their inquisitiveness, playfulness and size. They are both friendly, and do not bite, though the ebony boy is quite timid in human company. He still has a lot of fur to regrow (from being poorly handled and losing fur previously). This can take quite some time to grow back after the traumatic way it was lost. I do not recommend these as pets for children. Chinchillas require a lot of time, care and attention, and can live for up to 20years. They are a big commitment so please consider this before enquiring.
