Redfoot tortoise male wanted to slowly introduce to two females I have already, with the view of generating a possible future breeding group. Age ideally not overly concerned as long as he's old enough to obviously tell he's male! This is a long term idea so growing on for a few years is no problem. iam looking for a strong healthy male that has been kept and looked after correctly. I've kept tortoises for over 20yrs but never bred any. one of my two redfoot girls is constantly laying eggs so the tike is right to look at forming a future group. This will be a forever home irrelevant if they breed or not and you can be assured he will be kept totally correct living conditions with the correct diet. 2 Male redfoot tortoises for sale. One is approx 7 the other is approx 8 years old. We have owned the youngest male from only a few weeks old and the other when he was about 14 month. We are not experts by any means but have tryed to give them what they need for a healthy life. We have spent s of pounds over the years upgrading their vivs as they have got older. Now they live in a purpose built 8 x 4 foot viv complete with misting system and 250 watt ceramic heat lamp. As you will see the older redfoot as got a bit of shell damage. We are not sure the exact cause but we took advice and treated this. The shell does not appear to be getting worse and it has been like this for several months now. We would only consider selling these to people who have either owned this breed before or know what exactly is required to keep these tortoises. Hi I have a nine year old redfoot for sale egg laying but not with a male.So eggs not fertile.She lives happily with a group of redfoots.She was bought many years ago and her shell reflects the wrong diet shes a good weight and heavy to hold her shell will never improve but her health has.Shes wormed and microchipped.Shes not in your face redfoot like some and needs time to trust you but a banana helps.Shes a tropical tortoise and doesnt hibernate.A good natural diet is required.
