Dozens of prototypes were tested and rejected in a period of 18 months, and the final result is an effects pedal nothing like anything Dark glass has made before. The Alpha Omega has two discrete distortion circuits that can be used separately or mixed by means of the Mod control. Combined with extra switches for growl and bite and an active EQ, this is without a doubt one of the most flexible distortion pedals for bass on the market today. Please note: a power adapter is not included and the Alpha·Omega has a current draw of 30mA. Only use a regulated 9V DC adapter with a center-negative plug. Due to ecological reasons it does not accept batteries. Unregulated power supplies and/or higher voltages may result in suboptimal noise performance and even damage your unit.
