Fish Tank 55 lts with red cherry shrimp and lots of accessories
Due to serious lack of time and moving home, after 3 years I am regretfully abandoning my hobby, therefore I have put my shrimp tank for sale. The tank is an AquaNano 40. It's volume is 55 lts and dimensions are 40 x 40 x 40 cm. The rear compartment has been completely removed, so the tank is now fully open, which gives extra living space for any fish or invertebrates you want to add. At the moment, the tank has a red cherry shrimp colony of over 40 shrimps and 3 Amano shrimps. It is also equipped with: - A large sponge filter - A completely silent EHIEM 100 SILENT air pump. Totally silent, along with a non-return valve. - A heater - Lots of lava stone (perfect for bacteria colonization) - Sand as substrate - More than 9 roots of very healthy Anubias (great plants, very strong, you can see their roots growing in the 1st photo) - Lots of ceramic tubes for the shrimp to hide in All these create a great landscape and making lots of hiding places for the shrimp to hide in. I have removed the fish tank's rear compartment that was housing the filtering system, and that gives it lots of space for whatever you want to put in it. Then I covered it with black vinyl sticker on the back and on 1/6th of the sides to protect it from getting algae as I have it next to a window. The sticker is easy to remove and will leave no residue at all. Plastic clips that hold the two top glass covers have been changed from the flimsy factory ones too. I have also added a light-diffusing frosted-glass type film at the top glasses, to prevent harsh light and make it spread more evenly from the light bulb to the whole tank. Along with it you'll get: - A few more pieces of lava stone if you want to change the aquascape. - Lots of pieces of driftwood. - Lots of pebbles (spare, can be used to aquascaping or as home decoration). - 4 more non-return air valves, brand new. - Two airstones (air-bars to be exact). One has been used in the tank, tha other one is brand new. - Half a bag of Colombo Flora Base substrate (unused), ideal for live plants. - A water testing kit (ammonia, nitrites, gH, kH, etc). - A TDS stick (for monitoring your total disolved solids, critical for the shrimp). - Some pure ammonia for starting a new tank. - A bottle of Seachem Prime water dechlorinator, almost full. - An IKEA Tertial lamp (hacked to fit) with a warm bulb, ideal for the look you see in the photos. - A timer switch for the lights. - The original tank's box. - Some Catappa leaves (great for the shrimps as food and antibiotic). - High quality shrimp food of various types, some completely unopened. - Two thermometers. - A net. - An extra, (slightly used) fully functional All Pond Solutions 64 LED Light HMD-C4. - Long trimming stainless steel scissors. - A 40cm long stainless steel tweezers for planting. - A bucket. - A gravel vacuum pump. - A strong water pump to easily fill or empty your tanks during water changes. - A long arm cleaning brush. - Feeding trays for the shrimp. - Lots of different size aquarium-safe suction cups. - A transparent fishing line to tie things safely. - A custom made base covered in black felt. If you need something, it will probably be in the stuff you'll get... As this is a running tank (the red cherry shrimp are thriving), I can only sell as one piece. Just the cost of (at least) 40 red cherry shrimps and the All Pond Solutions LED light easily reaches £75. (I must have paid over £400 for everything as new). Everything is in great, functional and first-hand condition, so you might even be able to resell stuff you don't need. I'm looking for only £100 for everything but feel free to send your offers if they are close to the equipment and shrimp you'll be buying. Alternatively, I can sell the tank on its own for £60, if you find someone else to buy the shrimp for £40. Buyer collects. I can help you carry stuff to your car if needed and give you advice on how to run everything. Feel free to contact me if you need any more details. Thanks for looking Alex. Ad ID:
