A lovely example of a Welsh Dresser made by a local furniture maker from Bromsgrove, Phil Hanks of the Joshua Tree, in about . Made in reclaimed pine with a natural waxed finish giving it a lovely aged patina. Sadly, there is no suitable location for it in our new home. It has 2 cupboards and 2 drawers in the base, glazed doors to the top half with a plate slot in the shelf. The top half is removable for transportation. Welsh dresser in pine, Pine Welsh dresser, hand-made by a local wood carving/furniture making business (see picture of drawing). The wood was treated with the same varnish used at Hampton Court Palace, where the company used to restore and care for the Royal furniture. Dimensions: L 156cm H 196cm D48cm Difficult to show the real colour of the wood in the pictures, as they come out darker. So I have taken some while the sun was shining on it, which I am happy to forward.The dresser splits into 2 to carry: the heavier bottom half with drawers and storage, and the lighter top, linked together at the back. There are no deep marks nor scratches on the surface, only some signs of wear & tear on the inside of the big drawers, a chip on the bottom panel at floor level on the left hand side (see picture) and a small dent - both due to house move. This was originally an old peep hole pine desk, left in pieces. We have cut and shut it into a very servicable piece of furniture. For anyone who has always wanted a welsh dresser but has not got the space this is ideal. It is only 29inches long, 63 inches high (5 foot 3 inches) and is 30 inches deep. 5ft Pine Welsh Dresser, pot dresser with two drawers

This Solid pine Welsh dresser was made for me in the s by a local pine shop. It is 5ft wide. the base is open at the bottom, which is why it is a Welsh pot dresser with 2 drawers over. The base is 29.5" high, the top is 42" high. The base and top are not joined together at all, making it easier for transporting. The top of the base does have some water marks but to my mind this just adds to it's charm, Only selling because we have changed our taste in decor and this no longer fits with our design. Rustic reclaimed pine dresser

This is a refurbished vintage, reclaimed, pine dresser. This rustic piece has been painted with Annie Sloan ‘Old White’ chalk paint. These sections have then been ‘aged’ using a waxing technique designed to give an antique effect. The wax also protects and provides a durable surface for the dresser. The small drawers and dresser top have been sanded and aged with waxes, using a similar technique. All my furniture is unique. A lot of creativity and time goes into the final pieces you can see. These are pre-loved pieces of furniture and as such may have some knocks and marks on them, showing their history. I believe this adds to the distinctive character of each piece. Please note that this piece, has a strong rustic feel to it and is not smooth or ‘new’ in any way, in fact it’s perfectly imperfect! This is a beautiful dresser which will look great in a kitchen, dining room or sitting room wanting to have a rustic country feel to their home.
