Isabella Frances 54' Unique Ocean-going Narrowboat fully re-fitted inside and out
"I. Frances" was built in Newfoundland, Canada, launched in and sailed across the Atlantic and into the mouth of the Shannon river on the west coast of Ireland. "I. It is powered on board by a brand new 800w continuously rated Victron inverter or via shore power through the IP67 external socket and IP67 equipped armoured cable supplied. On board power comes from 3x100w solar panels via a 30A PWM charge controller. Storage is in 330Ah of deep cycle lead acid batteries. All equipment brand new - the batteries have not even completed one cycle! The DC system supplies the external running lights: tunnel light and red and green port/starboard navigation lights and an air horn. Internally it supplies the cabin lighting system, domestic water pressure pump and the toilet flush system, two automatic bilge pumps and engine room lighting. The cabin lighting consists of twenty 0.5W super low power LED lights lighting up the entire boat with only 10W! All plumbing is newly installed and never used: Brand new: Jabsco pump/strainer; accumulator; Morco D61b instantaneous gas water heater; shower and kitchen taps. In parallel to the Morco is a Webasto Indel Marine calorifier giving 40L of hot water via the engine cooling system. Shower and heads are GRP lined wet rooms.
