Rayburn Multi-Fuel Inset Stove
Probably around 50 years old and consequently much sturdier than its modern counterparts, this lovely old inset stove gave great service to me the last two winters, proving itself to be far superior to an open fire. Close it right down using coal fuel and it burns right through the night with ease. The exterior finish is excellent and the interior parts (grate, throat plate, riddler, bricks, ashtray etc) are all in good working order. There has been a little rusting of the (normally hidden) heat shielding (as seen in photo) but this is trivial and does not affect operation in any way. In addition, the stove does require a couple of replacement glass strips in the front and the joins between the fire bricks could do with a smudge of fire cement but nothing beyond normal maintenance. Priced to sell at not much over scrap value (it's very heavy), I'll be happy to give you a hand to load it into your vehicle.
