This guitar is special and is one of the few other than the SG and 700 that was kitted out with coil tapping.

Built back in the early ’s and in pretty good condition for its age. It does have one or two characteristic marks but nothing major as you can see. Fitted with two Yamaha high output humbucker type open coil pickups, with chrome-plated hardware. Had the guitar for some time now but do not play it anymore. I think its time for it to go to a new home. - This guitar is a great player. The neck, fingerboard and frets are still in great condition. Gibson Les Paul custom vintage guitar in Cherry sunburst

Gibson USA Les Custom Cherry Burst vintage guitar. This is already a 45 year old guitar and will only rise in value. Has the rare Gibson embossed pick up covers - which together with the dates on the pots makes this date approx . Overall condition is good but as you would imagine there are a few dings and marks as shown in the photo's - top of headstock, just under headstock, small nick on reverse of neck and couple of marks on reverse of body. However, there has been no neck break and has aged look through playing and the gold hardware has seen better days. If restoring to gigging or studio standard I would advise a new bridge and a re fret - although this guitar has just been set up, new strings and cleaned by Andy at Nottingham City Guitars. This is an all original Les Paul Custom made in the USA and a great investment for the future - even comes with the original owners manual.
