Sintesi Italian Adult Mountain Bike. In outstanding condition. Medium 18” frame. Around year. A real time warp Retro bike. This bike is all alloy and as befitting the manufacturer is specified and built to a very high standard. Alloy frame uses American Easton taperwall racing tubing, meaning multi butted. Forks are alloy. Wheels alloy Mavic X 221 rims with Shimano STX Parallax hubs., stainless steel spokes / chrome plated brass nipples and eyeleted. Wheels are quick release. Stem and handlebars are polished alloy. 24 speed Trigger shift changers are Shimano Deore LX polished alloy. Rear derailleur is polished alloy Shimano Deore XT. Front derailleur Shimano STX. Hand grips and racing seat are Sintesi. Alloy seat post with chromoly seat rail tubes. Brake levers are alloy Shimano servo wave with reach and power adjustment. These are set on the most powerful setting so they are 2 finger brakes. Brakes are polished alloy long lever Shimano V brakes. Crank set is polished alloy Shimano Deore LX, outside chain wheel is alloy. Alloy Welgo pedals. Tyres are the original 26 x 195 Maxiss and still have good tread, testament to how much the bike has been used and they are in good shape, no frost crazing, or perishing. Just fully serviced inc new cables and brake blocks. General condition is excellent, frame and forks have NO paint missing, and just a few small scratches, extremely minor. There is slight damage to the top rail graphics, probably parking against metal objects. One very careful owner from new before me and it was apparently always used as a road bike. Which makes sense as that is what it excels at. It has spent it’s life in a double garage. This machine is utterly and totally original, everything works perfectly, no faults, wheels true, bearings great. The high specification parts and great attention to detail mean this bike weighs in on my digital scales at a stunningly good 23 lbs all up. That is road bike weight not MTB.
