This is my Custom Gibson J45 Acoustic Guitar, it has an Abalone and Mother of pearl floral headstock design with a Mother of Pearl Gibson inlay, it also has a mahogany neck and Rosewood finger board which also has Abalone diamond inlays, the top is a AA Sitka spruce top with a rosewood back. The tuners are Grover tuners and it has L.R. Baggs pickups................oh go and check out the website, this instrument is awesome, the only reason i am selling it is that i have fallen in love with electric again and this just doesn't get used. It is in immaculate condition and comes with a hard case and all the paperwork. call me for more pics if required. I will post it no problem but the buyer MUST insure it, i wont take any responsibility for any damage, i can send pictures of it being packed if required but i have sold many guitars with no problem. I'm selling my all original Mossman Great Plains Custom which happens to be one of the best acoustics I've ever played or heard. The only guitar which has rivalled it is my newly acquired 67 braz martin D-28 and as they're both so similar one has to go. Stuart Mossman is considered by many to be the world’s first boutique guitar builder. During a relatively short period that began in the late s and ended in , he and a group of devoted artisans built high-quality acoustic guitars in Winfield, Kansas. Although exact numbers are hard to come by, it’s probably safe to say that the small Mossman shop produced only about instruments during that time, which helps to explain why they are relatively rare and highly desirable in the used market. Similar to a Martin D-35, this Great Plains combines a beautiful three-piece Rosewood back with a Sitka Spruce top. This Gibson Firebird has a a full professional refurb and some damage to the back which had been poorly fixed has been restored to almost perfect. (slightly noticeable in a small part of the finish on the back) All parts an bindings are original except the replaced headstock binding and bone top nut. Hardware removed, Back and binding removed, Back and struts repaired, Linings repaired/replaced. Back re-fitted, Binding re-fitted, Visible damage/old repair sanded back and veneer fitted. Partial re-spray to back. (Colour matched) Missing headstock binding replaced. Binding colour matched, Logo and headstock emblem masked, Headstock re-sprayed, Hardware re-fitted, New bone top nut made and fitted, Fret Dressed, Re-strung, Action and truss rod adjusted It was made on 29th June at the Bozeman Plant, MT, USA.
