This whurlie guitar / Ukulele was owned by a man who is 86 and he said his Uncle used to play it to him when he was very young. So I believe this guitar could be a hundred years old. It also may be classed as a Barritone guitar / Ukelele It has its original case and has not been cleaned, leave it to you experts, it is to important to mess around with,but I think it would come up after a good clean absoulutely amazing. This whurlie guitar is approx 100 years old in good working order and has never been tampered with. Everything on it is original hence the lovely pateena. Comes with its original case, but case needs attention to its leather hinge lid. The elderly man I required it from said his uncle used to play it to him as a child and he is 89 years old. Whurlie has been going since the s so this has to be a hundred years old approx.

Hi all. I'm currently selling my Grandfather's old guitar that he passed down to me. It's a Martin D string with an authenticated serial number from a UK authorised Martin dealership. It has only been played on a handful of occasions mainly on my Grandfather's recordings for an album he produced in the 's. All of the parts are original with nothing changed or altered. It plays beautifully and has held its tone for many a year thanks to top notch craftsmanship. The case is also original and bar a few marks to the outside it is in great condition too and the electric blue innards are spectacular. RARE ERRINGTON BASS GUITAR in Chertsey

The bass was hand-made by a UK luthier according to the specialist guitar shop that sold me this 15 years ago; the maker didn't produce a huge number of instruments and they're not mainstream... this bass plays and sounds great (it has a superb neck), comfortable body and has a feel somewhere between and P Bass and a J Bass. It's a nicely balanced weight not too heavy or too light ! I had the bass listed on an online forum to get more info and here's a message one of the group members sent me: "Hi. I recognise this bass. It was made in the late 90's at the Errington Guitars workshop in Richmond, North Yorkshire." Fingerstyle, pick style, slap and chords all sound good on this instrument (which in itself if a rare thing) ! 21 frets GOTOH bridge SHALLER machineheads Hardly used and has seldom left the house... it has never been gigged ! Comes from a home with no pets or smokers I paid 850 for it with a case, but I've taken some off for depreciation & there are a couple of small dings / flecks to the paint work on the front and on the back. These in absolutely no way affect the sound or playing in any form whatsoever. Doesn't need a respray to play it, but if someone wanted to do it for cosmetic reasons a respray could be done for c. 180...so we arrive at 380 (bass + case) Collection from Chertsey Surrey...if you are traveling by train, it's a 15 minute walk or I can pick you up from the station. You are welcome to try before you buy. I have an amp here you can use.
