Genuine antique, solid walnut, hand carved French early 19th century buffet., A beautiful, solid walnut hand carved French buffet (cupboard) aged early 19th century. Renaissance style with intricate hand carved scenes of hunting and foliage.Very good condition relative to the stated age of the piece. Has been well looked after and professionally restored.Cupboard consists of 2 parts with plenty of storage in upper and lower sections. Internal shelving in all sections.Magnificent carvings and columns throughout the piece. Original locks and key.Glass and mirrors are original and multi faceted.Entire piece easily splits into 2 for easy transport. Late 19th / Early 20th century original antique painted Chinese cabinet

Exquisite, one-off, hand painted antique Chinese cabinet, in very good condition. Likely from 19th century - certainly not a modern imitation! This was a gift to my family from another family member but it no longer fits in our house, which is why I'm selling. It has two main doors, three main base drawers, 3 inner drawers. All drawers and doors have original metal handles and the original metal 'closing latch'. It is made of painted wood, with 4 painted main scenes.   RARE OLD ANTIQUE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH VIOLA

A rare late 19th century french viola, JTL workshops circa , proposed for restoration. Today for restoration we propose this rare late 19th century french viola made in the JTL (Jérôme Thibouville-Lamy) workshops circa . The top is made of two pieces of spruce, and shows regular grain lines widening to the edges. The back is made of a single part of maple. The ribs, neck and head are of the same wood. The varnish is of a beautiful red-brown colour, almost ruby. There is a repair on top under the left f hole, a few worm holes have been filled, and some unglued ribs, nothing serious. The viola bears on the inside back the "Celebre Vosgien" label, which was one of the first levels of JTL at the time. These early ones are always well made, the f holes have been carefully carved as well as the head.    A rare piece for a restorer! Body lenght: 400 mm.
