This is a RARE vintage Postman Alarm Wall Clock in great working order, original condition and has recently been cleaned. There are 2 Weights - one for the clock movement and one for the alarm, the face of the clock is 11" Diameter in a super looking pink ceramic gloss finish, the case is 7" deep. The alarm bell is in original condition and good working order. Please take a look at the photos to evaluate the condition, which is good for an original vintage piece of this age. There is a slight dent to the pendulum but this does not impair the movement. Note: I've had the clock running so I could monitor the timekeeping and is keeping really good time with a beautiful timely tick-tock sound. Vintage mid-20th C metal double bed frame, art deco style, continental. Good condition.

THIS BED FRAME IS ADVERTISED FOR SALE ELSEWHERE, SO I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE THIS LISTING AT ANY TIME SHOULD IT BE SOLD We have just dismantled this true vintage bed frame in readiness for a change of décor, and it is ready to be collected in four separate pieces. Please note that this is the head, foot and side runners only – there is no base to this bed included in this listing. It is originally from an abandoned cottage in the Andalucian hills above Malaga, and we brought it home with us when we moved back to the UK years ago. From the history we know of the house and its former occupants, it is a fairly safe estimate to assume that this bed frame dates from the mid 20th Century i.e. probably late '50s or early s, but it could possibly be a decade either side! Although it is in a fabulous Art Deco style, I have to admit that I doubt it could possibly be that early. We could not get the flat bed base out of the cottage, so we had to improvise by adapting an IKEA slatted base (not completely ideal as it was a little wide) and squashing a UK double mattress onto it (this bed is a little shorter than a standard UK double bed). These are not included in this listing but I’m sure a buyer would be able to adapt something as we did. Please see my 'other items' for the IKEA base listing though, as I am selling this separately. The original colour of the metal is a light grey, but this was painted over with a hammered gold paint ages ago. Obviously, this has had the odd knock over the years, and the original colour is visible in places around the side edges of the frame where this has happened. Approximate measurements are: length 75 inches (add another 3 inches to account for the length added by the depth of the headboard and footboard), width 53 inches. Some of the photos show the bed made up or with a mattress on, but these are simply to show how it looks at various stages when in use. There is no bedding, base or mattress included in the sale (or bears!). PLEASE DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO COLLECT IN PERSON FROM THURGOLAND (S35) WITHIN A FEW DAYS AFTER PURCHASE. Vintage Kahler (GDR) Cups and Saucers

Firstly please disregard the date on the photographs, camera problems! There are 8 cups and 8 saucers in this set of china made in the German Democratic Republic. The pattern is "Bird of Paradise and Flowers" and each piece is stamped on the base with GDR and the crown symbol relating to Kahler. Whilst 4 cups are in good condition the others do have small imperfections around the inside rim, nothing too significant but nevertheless I cannot call them perfect. 4 of the saucers appear to be in good condition but again on 3 of them there are fine hairline cracks radiating from the centre outwards, again not excessive but present. Another has a chip on the underside and I have tried to indicate this in the last photograph. They are relatively weighty so the cost of postage could be costly and therefore collection would be the better option. Read More
