Raleigh Superbe 3-Speed Vintage Roadster

Raleigh Superbe Traditional 3-Speed Vintage Classic Roadster with Rod Brakes. 22.5 inch frame. 26 inch wheels. All original, unrestored and substantially complete. Good working condition and perfectly useable. Goes well in all gears. 3rd is a nice high cruising gear. The lights do not work and the accumulator shell is empty. The tyre tread depth is good but there are some thin cracks on the rear side walls. Original rubber pedals. Brooks saddlebag and seat. There is very little corrosion. The paintwork and chrome are original but not in showroom condition - as one would expect for a near 70 year old bike.

Vintage Raleigh - Mens Single Speed Bike - Large: 63cm

My Classic Raleigh, its in great condition for a vintage bike. It has a large frame - 63cm - which would suit anyone over 5ft 11 - 6ft 5" The bike has brand new wheels and tubes, a single speed sprocket, (meaning no gears to worry about) and with upright comfortable handlebars it rides 'as a gentleman's bike should!' All in all everything is in good mechanical order, the brakes are responsive and the frame is in great condition, it shows the normal signs of wear for a bike of its age with no rust or dinks. The only down side is a slight squeek when you ride and some light loss of paintwork around the mudguards. Overall though the bike is in great shape The pros are that it has full mudguards, a high quality steel frame, beautiful chrome forks, and will ride and ride with little need for a service. Vintage 3 Speed Raleigh Bike - £250 ono I bought this about 6 months ago from a bike builder in Suffolk, brought it to London and just haven't used it enough. My apartment is quite small and all it seems to be doing is winding my housemate up, so, hence the sale! Its got a three speed sturmey archer hub which has works great, although you also have the option of flipping the wheel round and riding it single speed. It's currently in 3 speed mode which is how I've been riding it - when you go from a standstill there is a little give in the pedals before it bites - however unnoticeable when you're riding. The handlebars are really cool, vintage leather seat, the wheels are new and also has a fixing to stick a basket on the front. Buyers welcome to test ride before buying!
