These won't be an issue if you'll be cutting these pieces away anyway. The surfaces themselves are unscratched, unmarked, and in perfect condition. The colour of the worktops is 'Mushroom'. Note that while in most of the pictures they may look grey, they are - in my opinion - more brown (the photo of the slimmest piece shows its true colour better). I had to buy a standard 650mm deep worktop and get it cut down by a joiner so this is the other half. It's all square and ready to use as work top or a fantastic set of chunky shelves... (i used something called Osmo hard-wax oil which i highly recommend but you could us other oils.
