I bought her at Christmas as a 'forever horse' only for a change of job to happen in March and I am now living away with work so its not going to make having a horse possible. I bought Lulu to event. Such a heart breaking decision but my beautiful Irish Thoroughbred is up for sale. I currently can now no longer ride as I am waiting for a back operation and will be unable to walk for months, so this is the best choice for my boy. Xander has come such a long way coming from a bad previous home. He has been ridden by a novice but I want him to go too a home with experience. He needs a lot more schooling and hacking out (walk trot) to build his muscle up as he was very under nourished. He is currently coming back into work being lunged and ridden slowly after having a rest. He is a very lazy ride but slight squeeze and he will listen, so no leg kickers!! Winston (Wiseton) 5year old 15.3hh thoroughbred gelding. After a tough time after his racing career, Winnie came to me in May as a very sorry looking horse. After lots of TLC and plenty of good food, he is finally looking super. He started retraining September last year, but was then put out of work in November due to me focusing on my mare and giving him time to mature. Since November he has been sat on a few times and always been fine, just a little touchy (which you can expect from any young, sensitive thoroughbred). He has done a fair amount of lunging work and is starting to come into good shape, but he will need to be brought back into ridden work. Unfortunately as he isn't turning out as I would like, he needs to find a home with a job that he will enjoy. I think he would excel in an experienced riding club/eventing/jumping home with an older, experienced teenager or adult and unfortunately I don't have much interest in jumping. Winnie has no vices at all, although he can be grumpy and pull faces at times, but will never do anything other than scowl! He does actually enjoy the fuss too, just likes to pretend he doesn't. ??
