Compaq CQSA working but faulty
Here I have a Compaq CQ60 laptop for sale. It has a dual core AMD Turion X2 processor clocked at 2.1 ghz. 4 gb ram. 320gb hard drive. 15 inch screen. Web Cam. Hdmi out. Nvidia graphics. Windows 10. Genuine HP charger. Battery (untested). Kodi I aquired this laptop with a bulk purchase of used laptops. I haven't spent much time with it but it does work. The screen seems mainly ok but there is a small area that sort of looks like a thumb print mark on the screen. It isn't very noticeable unless you know it's there but thought I'd mention it. The keyboard and track pad seem to be working fine. Sound works. Wifi works. Web Cam works. Overall condition is not to bad. The lid is scratched but inside is ok. The keyboard, bezel and screen all look pretty good. There is an issue with this laptop though. It runs hot. The cpu will exceed 80 degrees C while streaming HD video and the gpu can exceed 75 degrees C. I know AMD's older cpu's can run a bit hot but this seems too hot to be normal. I have to many laptops I'm currently working on to spend time on this one so I'm selling it at a reduced price as it is. I also don't like working on AMD laptops, I stick to Intel Cpu's. As I'm selling this as working but faulty there will be no refunds given. I do not know if the running hot is going to be an easy fix or something more complex. I do not know if this has other issues that I didn't notice in the short test I did with this laptop. I have been as honest as I can be to paint a picture of the laptop in its current state. If I've missed an issue then I apologise but this was just a quick test. On a plus note, while streaming p video via Kodi for around 45 minutes the laptop didn't shut down due to over heating so the laptop is usable as it is, just not ideal running so hot! I have included a picture of the reported temperatures using HWinfo Any other questions please get in touch £55 ono Richard Ad ID:
