Peanuts is a friendly pygmy hedgehog who is looking for a new home. Hedgehogs are solitary creatures who don't mind being on their own so keeping one is fine. As they get used to you they will form a bond and be responsive to you. They need a warm and comfortable environment so are not suitable to being kept outside. I am rehoming my 2 year old female hedgehog due to family reasons...optional 4ft vivarium, bucket wheel, and bowls for £60 extra. Hedgehogs can live up to 6 years old. Please not that this is a specialist exotic pet breed of hedgehog, not a European wild hedgehog. I currently have no heat mat in her vivarium as I have a very warm room, but you will need to get a heatmat as she needs to have a temperature Of around 72 to 74 degrees f to prevent hibernation, which she will not survive. My African pygmy hedgehog needs a new loving home. He is one year old and has been handled. He isn't a huge fan of being held but he's quite the character. I have a beautiful male Pygmy Hedgehog around 2 years old looking for a loving forever home, this is a very reluctant rehoming as I love my little boy very much but he just is not getting the attention he deserves:(his name is Hogley and he is around 2 years old and is a lovely friendly Hog, he is a little skittish to begin with but this is just due to the animals nature, he is litter trained and will come with a a cage/ stand and his full set up including his food he currently eats. I have for sale 2 stunningly beautiful baby African pygmy hedgehog boys. They are ready now and looking for their loving forever homes. They have been reared in our home environment and so are used to household noises and are nice and tame though one huffs and puffs until you have actually lifted him up at which point he promptly uncurls and will happily walk over your hands or eat food from your hand. Each baby will come with his own hoglet pack to help you both get off to the best start. This will include some food, a blanket, a toy and some tasty dried mealworms.
