2 x Beautiful Golden Pencilled Hamburg Bantam Cockerels for sale at just £10 each. Hatched this year, they are approximately 17 weeks old (posted on 23/8), so just developing their striking irridescent plumage. Very good natured and friendly as hatched and raised by a family with young children, sadly we must sell them as we can only keep one! Beautiful pure-bred Barnevelder cockerel, 9mths. Very tame and friendly and a good husband to hens.

This is a really beautiful young pure-bred Barnevelder cockerel, 9 months old. The photo doesn't really do justice to the wonderful colours in his plumage. I bred him myself, and so am very sad to lose him, but I have only a small garden and so MUST - very regretfully - downsize my little flock. His name is Tea and he is very tame and friendly - eats out of your hand. He is attentive and solicitous to his hens, which is the best thing about a cockerel - they will keep hens together and watch over them which deters some predators. He is very healthy, has been regularly wormed, and is used to a free-range life. He would be an ideal husband to someone's flock of hens, but to a good free-range home only please - ideally a farmyard or meadows. Ad ID:

Hi, I have several young cockerels that are surplus to stock that I want to get rid off. Most are this years young but there are a few from last year. Various colours, FREE TO GOOD HOMES, collection from near Reepham. just outside Norwich. I think I have about 7 in total, please bear in mind that these birds have been hatched outside and have never been caged, they are free range birds and most are very friendly. Pencilled blue and red Bantam POL Hen

Stunning, friendly young hen at point of lay. She has a stunning rare blue and red pecilling on her feathers. Her mum was pure frizzle and her dad was half pekin and half marans columbine cross. She doesnt show the frizzle feathers but takes after the pekin side of the family. She may lay a blue or green egg (about 20% chance). Hybrids lay more than pure breeds and she should lay minimum 280 eggs a year. All my hens are incubator hatched and hand reared so are very human friendly. I only hatch a few batches a year so give them individual care and attention. They are wormed and treated for lice every six months. They sleep in plastic coops to avoid red mites and have the run of the garden during the day. Read More
