Sad sale not long had this girl but unfortunately can't keep her as I can't keep her in the field. Only have electric and she is walking through it despite being unrugged and getting in with other horses that's could hurt her. I have tried and tried to keep her in. This is her only bad point. She is very intelligent. She rides she drives she is fab to lead by adults and kids. My kids pick her feet out. Recently trimmed by farrier. 12'2 black Dartmoor pony gelding. Freddie a lovely little pony, he is always first over in the field to greet you he loves a fuss and carrots! He currently lives out with mares and geldings but could also live in. He is very easy to do (load, trim, brush, pick feet out etc), not rugged and is barefoot, laid back manner. Never kicked, bucked or bitten (but can become nippy when given too many treats!) I have sat on Freddie numerous times, in the yard, field and around the lanes but am far to big to expect him to do anything, friends have ridden him around the lanes and he was very good however has a tendency to pick from the hedge! Freddie has been ridden by small children and adults although they have now lost interest and he is left without a rider. He goes on regular walks around the lanes, meeting cars, bikes, tractors etc but nothing seems to faze him. I feel Freddie would make a great childs/small adults pony for someone. Please take note that he will need extra work off the lead rein to stop the hedge snacking. I am looking for around £450 open to offers as home more important than price. Georgie is looking for a new rider to keep him busy due to daughters other commitments. He is a faultless lead rein pony been there done it and will look after his rider. This is a very sad advert to be writing but we are looking for a new home for our very special pony 'Dave'. He is a full up 12.2. We bought Dave as a confidence giving pony for my son and he has been just this. He is your traditional kick along pony that is happy to give anything a go. Will hack out happily first or last. Has been to pony club rallies and he behaves brilliantly in a group of ponies. Will lead rein or trot a lovely cm nervous and novice course but if you push him he will do a course may not win on speed but will get you round clear and safe.
