Here is 'Dumpling' - the best cockerel I have ever had. Dumpling is a sensitive soul, he looks after his ladies, gently preening them and protecting them from other male attention.. He spends his days strutting about in 6 acres of Wiltshire farmland and meadows. Fed on a varied diet of corn, apple'y treats, all the bugs and beasts he can find and of course, lots of grass. Dumpling is easy to handle - once caught. He was hatched and hand raised by myself (because originally I thought he was a female) He is a pure Brahma, I originally purchased the eggs from a breeder online. He is not in pure in colour, he is a mix of a blue and a golden duckwing. I also have a pure Silver Pencilled Brahma hen for sale, - for £30 She is unrelated to him. 'Bok Bok' - my Italian Hen - hand reared & free ranging

'Bok Bok' is a beautiful black hen, who I originally brought back from Sicily when she was just an egg (with permission from the Italian airline). She is half Sicilian Buttercup, half black leghorn bantam. She is not a true bantam; medium/small and athletic but compact in build. She is very spritely and alert and very easy to handle when caught. I find even my most of tamest of birds are hard to catch when presented with a 6 acre pasture.. I hand reared her from an egg. She loves to ride around on your shoulder and loves a cuddle. She produces beautiful medium sized porcelain eggs every day. She's a strong bird and was a very healthy, fast growing chick. Free ranging every day, rain or shine. I will be very sad to see her go, she is probably the second best chicken I've ever had, but I want to travel a lot this year so selling them makes sense.
