Wanted - small older dog

I'm looking for a small older dog for my dad. He's retired - so the dog would have lots of company - but still active so they'd also have nice walks. He'd like an older dog - male or female - and not a puppy as it would be too much with the training etc. As his grandchildren are all older now there wouldn't be any babies or small children around but as both my sister and myself have two dogs each it would need to be dog friendly so we could all enjoy walks together. My dad has previously owned dogs but hasn't any pets now so the dog would get lots of love and attention and would be the centre of his world. I live close by so would also be walking the dog and if for any reason in the distant future circumstances changed the dog would still have a home with us or other family members. I have two yorkie crosses that my dad is very fond of so ideally he'd like something similar - he's wanting a family pet and wouldn't be using them for breeding purposes. They'd be company for each other and the dog would want for nothing. I've posted the advert as my dad doesn't have the Internet and if left to him he'd rehome every dog that came along!!!!
