Fender USA Stratocaster th Anniversary Edition

This is in absolutely stunning condition for a 20-year-old guitar; it has been treated with love and respect and has never been gigged. Do take careful note of the following cosmetic blemishes, however: There is some slight zip rash from a soft carry-case on the bottom edge. On the REAR of the headstock there is a slight chip to the lacquer (not the wood) which has been re-lacquered but is still visible. On the REAR of the headstock there is a small concavity where the wood had slightly chipped; this has been filled with glass resin and varnished but is still visible. On the rear bout, there is a very faint patch of dark colouration under the lacquer; this has been there since new. The guitar is fully set up with new strings and is ready to play. The case is an absolutely brand new tweed affair with plush crimson lining, triple-clasps and keys. It is a Gear4Music make but has been debadged! This is your best chance of getting a USA-made Strat this side of a thousand pounds. The serial number is N and you will see that this checks out as having been made in Corona, California in . It has a Fender Anniversary plaque on the rear of the headstock. I can post but costs will be high because of the weight and the insurance. Built in Maryland, USA at the end of , my PRs Custom 24 was one of the last run to be finished in Makenna Blue. I bought the guitar new and took delivery at the beginning of . It has pickups, an overwound version of the vintage sounding s. The five way toggle switch offers a variety of humbucking and single coil tones suitable for both rhythm and lead guitar, whether played clean or with a bit of dirt. The figured maple top looks gorgeous, whilst the mahogany body and neck are finished in a deeper blue with a dark rosewood fingerboard featuring abalone bird inlays, topped by Phase 3 Locking Tuners. The guitar has a floating bridge with tremolo. When I play my PRS Custom 24 with friends they say it is a beautiful guitar and will be heartbroken when they learn I have sold it. The guitar is in excellent condition and comes in its original hard case with a PRS guitar strap, 4 sets of Dunlop nickel wound guitar strings and all the original documentation etc. The lucky buyer will need to collect the guitar from me.
