This guitar was bought new and only used a few times at home. The PRS ace was a limited run of about 180 guitars. It is basically the same as the Tremonti custom but with a bound neck. Scarlet flame top PRS SE 245. This is from the Korean SE line - not the cheaper SE Standards that are made in Indonesia. The guitar is in full working order and the frets have very little sign of wear. A PRS deluxe gig bag is included. The top is pretty much unmarked. The back has light buckle rash and there's a very small nick on the headstock which has been touched up nicely - as can be seen in the photos. PRS SIGNATURE VINTAGE I can't believe I am selling this I bought this with an intention to keep this for life But personal bills have got in the way So here it is a PRS Signature with sweet switch and Gold Hardware Uber rare certainly in the UK thanks to cites and the exchange rate Some lacquer dings on the back edges as can be seen This is a 26 year guitar after all Collectors may want to hang out for a totally unmarked guitar which might eventually surface but you will be looking around £5K from what I have seen Top is of course just glorious and the sound typical for this golden era with the sweet switch for PRS is killer. Hand cut Birds are particularly colourful against the dark Brazillian fretboard..... Comes with original case I have the hang tag and other documents as seen in the photos. PRS SE Singlecut

It's a lighter sound, less dense in the low end with a little more high-end sparkle. The pickups are less powerful than the USA No 7s but it's a quality, lively, quite resonant rock tone. The bridge pickup has strong mid-range grunt without over dominating the tone; the neck pickup is darker, smoother but still with a clear edge. The SE Singlecut is really expressive. The volume taper is smooth so reduced settings clean up the tone and the twin pickup mix, when used like this, creates a funky 'single-coil' sound - a good foil for the full volume blast of the 'buckers. Overall the feel is lightweight and ergonomic; a great stage guitar and versatile with it.
