Selling my PRS custom 24. Guitar is in great condition and sounds just as good, sadly I can't seem to get on with it. Guitar is fitted with the prs pickups. Hasn't been played much and hasn't left the house. There is one tiny nick on the back base of the body by the strap lock, it can hardly be noticed. PRS Custom 24 in Opaque Gold

PRS Custom 24 in Opaque Gold. Really nice ‘Special Order' gold-top guitar from before CNC production. It has all C24 appointments with awesome looking moons inlays instead of birds. Neck is wide/thin with small neck-heel giving great access to the higher frets. Also has extended factory trem-routing. Custom Opaque Gold colour looks very nice and you can still see thru a bit of the flame top. The guitar has been played but it’s in very good condition. Has some minor marks here and there but nothing serious. It plays great and it’s set up for low action. Wiring has been changed from rotary to McCarty-switching with tone push/pull coil split. It works great and it’s much easier to use. Rotary switch and wiring diagram is included. Original HFS and Vintage Bass pickups sounds great but have been swapped out for PRS ’’s for more like LP warmer and modern tone. This will come with 59s or original pickups if you prefer. I've owned this gorgeous guitar since but for the last few years my gigs have seen me mainly playing my telecaster. Seems very rude to have this sat in it's case, not being gigged. - This is one of the Brazilian Rosewood era guitars originally with the Sweet Switch (currently has tone control with push/pull for sweet switch - changed by Sounds Great in about ). The late 80s PRSs are considered some of the best guitars that Paul has ever made. This guitar was made before the factory move to the new Maryland factory, in the Virginia Avenue factory and was initially carved out with dupli-carvers and jigs and then finished with a significant amount of hands on work. The build quality is second to none. The Scarlet Red finish has not faded and the flame on it is gorgeous.
