Atelier Pronovias IDALIA Wedding Dress - Size 8

My Atelier Provovias Idalia wedding dress is all about the fit, so I’ll go straight into the size detail. I am a size 8 and the boutique owner recommended that I go one size above when I purchased it. The dress was then altered to my size and it is a size 8 around the hips. I am quite petite around the shoulders so I believe the top to be closer to a size 6 - 8. I am 5’ 4” and the heels that I wore with the dress were 4” high. Therefore the dress will work length-wise if you are 5’5” and wear 3” heels; 5’6” and wear 2” heels etc. Of course, if you are 5’ 4” or under then you have lots of flexibility with heel height. I have had the dress professionally cleaned and it is in mint condition. The dress is low maintenance and travels like a dream. I got married in Spain so it needed to be travel-friendly. The dress is so chic and so understated that a hanger does not quite do it justice. When it goes on – you get Goosebumps. And it is all about the derriere – so flattering. Not to mention how versatile it is. I loved the chic, minimalism but you can go to town with the dress if that’s your style. Some say the dress is only for a day, but I have a whole year of incredible memories from it. The dress is an adventure and I’ll be very sad to say goodbye.
