This dress fitted me perfectly so it has had no adjustments at all. I am 5'6" and wore 3.5" heels. I wore it for a September wedding and have had it professionally dry-cleaned since. It feels absolutely beautiful to wear. The waist is cinched in so it's very flattering, and the back (the reason I fell in love with it), made me cry it's so beautiful. The dress is in pristine condition as it was worn for less than a day and has been professionally dry cleaned. The bust has inserted padding and a fabric string has been added at the end of the train to allow ease of maneuvering when walking around/dancing. My Atelier Provovias Idalia wedding dress is all about the fit, so I’ll go straight into the size detail. I am a size 8 and the boutique owner recommended that I go one size above when I purchased it. The dress was then altered to my size and it is a size 8 around the hips. I am quite petite around the shoulders so I believe the top to be closer to a size 6 - 8. I am 5’ 4” and the heels that I wore with the dress were 4” high. Therefore the dress will work length-wise if you are 5’5” and wear 3” heels; 5’6” and wear 2” heels etc. Of course, if you are 5’ 4” or under then you have lots of flexibility with heel height. I have had the dress professionally cleaned and it is in mint condition. The dress is low maintenance and travels like a dream. I got married in Spain so it needed to be travel-friendly. The dress is so chic and so understated that a hanger does not quite do it justice. When it goes on – you get Goosebumps. And it is all about the derriere – so flattering. Not to mention how versatile it is. I loved the chic, minimalism but you can go to town with the dress if that’s your style. Some say the dress is only for a day, but I have a whole year of incredible memories from it. The dress is an adventure and I’ll be very sad to say goodbye. I am selling my beautiful Pronovias Vincenta wedding dress that I wore to get married in September . The dress is still current season and is £ new (plus alterations) - wish I'd known this before I tried it on!! I ordered a size 10 and had it altered to size 8 (ish). I had it cleaned immediately after the wedding and it is almost in perfect condition except for a couple of marks around the hem and train which are barely noticeable... if you are shorter than me (5'4 + heels) these would be removed if taking the dress up anyway. Selling my wedding dress with heaviest of hearts. I adore this dress and felt like a real princess in it. Dress has been altered to fit a size 8 - I am 5'4 but the dress was altered with heels of three inches. The dress has cups in to support the little boobed ladies but can be easily removed. A few beads missing but with so much detail, it's impossible to notice. In fact I bought it with beads missing and I didn't notice... however if it does bother you, there quite easy to find and sow on. Not been dry cleaned since wedding, I would advise you find your own local cleaner for this rather than myself.
