I chose the Pronovias Atelier Casey dress for its timeless and classic style and the "wow factor" long train. It was the showstopper dress for the catwalk show and it's easy to see why! My Atelier Provovias Idalia wedding dress is all about the fit, so I’ll go straight into the size detail. I am a size 8 and the boutique owner recommended that I go one size above when I purchased it. The dress was then altered to my size and it is a size 8 around the hips. I am quite petite around the shoulders so I believe the top to be closer to a size 6 - 8. I am 5’ 4” and the heels that I wore with the dress were 4” high. Therefore the dress will work length-wise if you are 5’5” and wear 3” heels; 5’6” and wear 2” heels etc. Of course, if you are 5’ 4” or under then you have lots of flexibility with heel height. I have had the dress professionally cleaned and it is in mint condition. The dress is low maintenance and travels like a dream. I got married in Spain so it needed to be travel-friendly. The dress is so chic and so understated that a hanger does not quite do it justice. When it goes on – you get Goosebumps. And it is all about the derriere – so flattering. Not to mention how versatile it is. I loved the chic, minimalism but you can go to town with the dress if that’s your style. Some say the dress is only for a day, but I have a whole year of incredible memories from it. The dress is an adventure and I’ll be very sad to say goodbye.
