Black anatomically shaped dressage girth. These girths are manufactured under licence from Fairfax, but cost considerably less, around £80 as opposed to £220 for a Fairfax new. They are not made from leather but a material described as highly technical, cool, dry and breathable, antibacterial and hyperallergenic. They just need wiping or dunking in a bucket after use, so are very simple to maintain. There is also a martingale loop which is easily removed if not required. The girth is 66 cm or 26 inches long from the rollers on the buckles at each end. The centre is 16.5 cm wide, and I have found the tag so know that this is the narrow gauge design for horses measuring less than 20 cm between the front legs. There is a lot of information about fitting on the Prolite website. Very little used, purchased in the spring, and no longer needed so a bargain if you are looking for the benefits of the Fairfax at a fraction of the cost.
